ILLUSTRATIVE TECHNICAL SCENARIOS
The scenarios below explain how a requirement can be assessed. They are examples, not additional completed project claims.
A replacement electric motor must be checked against supply voltage and frequency, shaft and mounting dimensions, operating speed and the driven equipment. The execution route may involve replacement supply, overhaul or an alternative specification for review.
A calibration or servicing enquiry should identify the maker, model, serial number, gas channels, fault symptoms and required service records. Sensor availability and approved service capability need to be reviewed before attendance is arranged.
Chain slipping, brake issues or irregular hydraulic operation require a defined fault history and relevant drawings. Attendance planning should consider onboard spares, disassembly access, test conditions and the time available alongside.
Leak detection, valve replacement, vacuum testing and refrigerant charging involve different resources and acceptance checks. Refrigerant type, access, isolation and the vessel’s available utilities should be defined before mobilisation.
