COMPLETED PROJECT / China → Indonesia
PPE fleet consolidation
Specification verification and quantity reconciliation across five vessels, followed by consolidated sea freight to Indonesia.

THE REQUIREMENT
Consolidation of PPE requirements across five vessels.
The requirement
PPE requirements were consolidated across five vessels for supply from China and delivery in Indonesia. The package required specification verification and quantity reconciliation before the combined shipment was arranged.
The fleet requirement therefore needed an accurate breakdown as well as a total order quantity. Consolidation could only be useful if the supplied products and quantities remained connected to the vessels’ requirements.
Reconciliation, consolidation and freight
The work included checking the specifications, reconciling quantities across the five vessels and consolidating supply in China. Sea freight was then coordinated for delivery in Indonesia.
This approach brought the commercial purchasing requirement and the shipment arrangement together. The delivery method was selected as part of the bulk supply package rather than treating each vessel’s order as an unrelated freight movement.
Commercial significance
Fleet purchasing is strongest when the specification is consistent and the allocation is clear. A combined quantity does not replace the need to understand what each vessel requires. Product verification and quantity reconciliation remain essential parts of the package.
This completed activity shows MSACHKL supporting a fleet requirement across two markets, combining five vessels’ PPE requirements into a coordinated supply and sea freight arrangement.
