COMPLETED PROJECT / Hong Kong
Medicine chest replenishment
Inventory verification, statutory review and medicine chest replenishment, including WHO Medical Chest Certificate renewal within 24 hours’ notice.

THE REQUIREMENT
Medicine chest replenishment and certificate renewal in Hong Kong.
The requirement
The vessel required medicine chest replenishment and WHO Medical Chest Certificate renewal in Hong Kong within 24 hours’ notice. The scope combined physical supplies with inventory verification and statutory review.
The enquiry was therefore broader than a list of medicines to deliver. The replenishment requirement needed to be reconciled with the inventory and the renewal activity included in the service scope.
Inventory review and replenishment
The work covered inventory verification, statutory review and complete replenishment of the medicine chest. WHO Medical Chest Certificate renewal formed part of the same package.
Coordinating those elements together connected the supply activity with the required review and documentation. The 24 hour figure describes the notice window given for this project.
Operational significance
A medicine chest requirement can involve different forms of information: the physical inventory, the replenishment items and the records needed for the vessel. Aligning them creates a clearer scope than treating the supplies and renewal activity as unrelated requests.
This project demonstrates time sensitive support in Hong Kong, bringing inventory review, replenishment and certificate renewal into one coordinated requirement.
